Alright, let’s get a little more eloquent than yesterday.
I am ill. I’m not going to lie and pretend it’s something serious – if anything, it’s probably just a repercussion from a general lack of sleep these past few days. Having a comfortable eight hours’ sleep is not enough to reset your body, you need consistency - something which I realised after waking up in a freezing cold sweat this morning and being very sick.
And thus began a wasted day of doing very little, staving off the pain and sickness by falling asleep and texting friends to cancel the plans I’d made for today – along with asking one of my flatmates to drop me off some paracetamol. Big thanks to her for giving me them so promptly – they have doubtless made a real difference, hence why I’ve been able to write this at all.
I’m so sorry about this, guys. It seems whenever I try to gear up to get something done, I get pulled back by something as trivial as this. But I will be better soon, I promise. But hey! At least I never missed a day of MoaBG!
